She goes against gender stereotypes by having the female protagonist of the story act like a tomboy. Dangers of gender roles
Literature, like fairy tales play it a powerful role in shaping children's perspectives about themselves in the people around them. Fairy tales reinforce until young girls minds that they need to always look pretty in that they are submissive and weak. from reading fairy tales that contain gender stereotypes, young girls might believe that they are nothing without a man by their side. also fairy tales are in force in two young boys mind that they are the ones that are required to do hard work and they need to support their family. Fairy tales also rainforest of men need to be tough in courageous all the time. This might lead young boys to be deprived of emotion and leave them to go through depression.
